some of my students ask me what is the use of icons?

Ans: icons are nothing but the application software or some folders that provide easy to access and reduce the steps to be open from Start Menu .

these icons actually are the shortcuts to access through desktop screen

for e.g. in the desktop screen you have seen the icon named "My Computer" "My Documents" or "Typing Master"

you can easily double click to switch any folder or the application software instead of go to start button select all programs then select typing master then you see a menu with options select the desired one.
