Opening a new document
- Select the New potion from the Office button/File menu. A dialog box opens, which gives options to select.
- Select the Blank Document option. A new document is opened on the screen by a defaulter name i.e. Document1-Microsoft Word.
- As soon as we open a new document, a blinking cursor appears on the top left-hand corner of the page, ready for us to type.
